ETS done years ago by other doctor. Only one side successful.

Patient’s background:
This patient had ETS done about 10 years prior by another doctor. Only one side succeeded in terms of stopping the sweating. The patient wanted to have ELS for her excessive foot sweating and have a redo of the unsuccessful side for ETS. Both ETS and ELS are separate procedures for separate types of focal hyperhidrosis.

Dr. Reisfeld’s approach:
Since this patients sweaty feet is a major problem that patient can have ELS followed a few days later with ETS on the side that failed.
