It has been about 9 months since my surgery and I wanted to let you know how things have been going. The result is absolutely great. I feel like a different person. My hands are 100% dry and my feet are about 60-70% better than they were. It is weird every once in a while it still feels like my hands are sweating but they are not.

Before the surgery I was very concerned about the extra sweating, especially my inner thighs because I already had sweating in that area but I’m happy to announce that I can totally live with it. Right after the surgery I had all of it, my back, inner thighs and face would sweat a little more than normal but it seems as time goes by it is less. The pain after the surgery was not as bad as I thought it would be but I did have a little numbness on one of my breasts and that went away also.

This surgery has changed my life. Before the surgery I could not hold hands, write a letter, or even type a letter without wiping my hands a whole lot. When I drove I always had the vent pointing on my hands. I had to wear socks always so I could never wear opened toed shoes. I can now wear sandals in the summer and get my toenails painted, it is great! I no longer have to be embarrassed.

I would highly recommend this surgery to anyone with this problem. I would also like to Thank Dr. Reisfeld he is the absolute kindest doctor I have ever met; he really seems to care about his patients. The staff is also the best; they really work with you to get you this surgery. I was treated very well while in their care.

I also wanted to say that I really love being on the call list. I have already received phone calls and it makes me so happy to spread the good news. I highly recommend this surgery to anyone who suffers from Hyperhidrosis.
